PRECURSILLO
What is Cursillo?
"Make a friend, be a friend, and bring your friend to Christ."
Cursillo is a means of evangelization centered on a three-day weekend retreat experience and an ongoing Christian community.
- The Three-Day Weekend is the start and focuses on discovering yourself, God, and others. Participants come out of the retreat as sisters and brothers in Christ (also jointly known as "Cursillistas").
- After the weekend, Post-Cursillo activities are available for Cursillistas to continue on in their faith formation through group reunions and Ultreyas gatherings (with personal witnessing).
- School of Leaders focuses on holiness, community, and formation, providing training on doctrinal and technical aspects of the Cursillo to enable Cursillistas to become leaders of the Secretariat or support future Three-Day Weekends.
